Sleep Better, Be Better
This Winter term I have been taking a class called Social Entrepreneurship. We have been learning about systems in both the business world and our everyday lives as well as the relationships that can be found within each of them. We've also taken a fair amount of tests that allowed us to look introspectively through different lens that can alternate the way we look at ourselves. Ultimately this led to a final project in which we were to locate something we wanted to change either about ourselves or our school and come up with a plan that would efficiently do so.
I ended up choosing to do a self improvement project. I chose something I've been struggling with a lot this final senior year, getting enough sleep. I decided to format my project in the form of a video essay. It ended up being a lot longer than I expected but I hope you enjoy regardless.
In conclusion, this projects was definitely one of the hardest ones I've had to do this year. The content itself was not difficult but the challenges and struggles that came with producing an 8 minute video was indeed very difficult. At some point during the editing I lost forty whole seconds of my audio and had to meticulously reinsert the individual audio files into the editing software. Ironically I did end up loosing a lot of sleep over this project but I hope the thinking and planning that went into it will help me finally establish a healthy sleep schedule. Thank you for reading.
